Abstract : This study examines the adoption of data science and cloud technologies for hybrid project managers in the banking sector, focusing on how customer-driven data science and project management frameworks influence quality, deliverables, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The study used an interpretivist research philosophy with descriptive and explanatory approaches. Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 40 banking-sector respondents, while secondary data were examined through thematic analysis. The questionnaire captured demographic information, skill-based awareness, and variable-based perceptions related to quality, deliverables, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The results indicate that aligning data science and project management frameworks supports improved project outcomes by strengthening data-driven decision-making, stakeholder insight, service quality, project efficiency, and customer-focused delivery. Respondents showed high awareness of project management and data science, and the findings generally supported the hypothesis that meaningful customer-driven data can improve banking project outcomes when data science and project management frameworks are aligned. The study highlights the need for hybrid project managers in banking to integrate data science knowledge, cloud-based tools, and structured project methodologies to improve operational performance, manage project complexity, and support future-ready cloud projects.
